Time for another SCREEN DOCTORS SHOUT-OUT!

Are your screens torn or sagging? Could your pool deck or driveway use a cleansing pressure wash? Does your dog or cat long for its own door to enjoy the outdoors when you’re not home? Is your pool not exactly ready for swimming season? If you’ve answered yes to any of these, it’s time to call the Screen Doctors!

Since 2004, Screen Doctors LLC has been re-screening pool enclosures and patios, installing pet doors and door screens and customizing screens and doors to any shape and size. In the last year they’ve expanded their line of work to add pressure washing and pool servicing, and the response has been overwhelming as operator Kevin Layne is busier than ever.

But one thing still remains the same, and that is Layne’s commitment to his customers. As varied as the Screen Doctors’ services are, dedication to a job well done is the top priority. And there’s no better evidence than the customers themselves – read on to see what the people of north central Florida have to say about Screen Doctors!

Last year Julie Hutchison received a Screen Doctors postcard in the mail, and held onto it until she and her husband began work to move back into their house after a mold occurrence. “We had a situation with gutters that kept filling up with stuff, and trees were actually beginning to grow out of it,” says Hutchison. “(Kevin) came up with an idea that if he made access panels in my screen he could cover them with helmets, and then he could access them to clean them on a regular basis. It turned out beautiful; they look great and function really well.”

Hutchison was very impressed that Layne was willing to look beyond a conventional fix to think of something entirely different. In fact, she was so happy with his work that she also had Screen Doctors do some other repairs in her screens and add an access door to an area behind her pool.

Hutchison was also struck by his honesty. “His prices were fair, and when he said he was going to be there he was there. He didn’t ask for money up front; he didn’t look for payment until the job was done and done right. I’d definitely hire him again!”

Don Robertson was advised by a friend to call the Screen Doctors when a tree fell on his pool enclosure. “I had a fair amount of damage,” says Robertson. “What we had done was repair the damage and rescreen the entire enclosure, since it was about time for that anyway.”

Robertson, the Executive General Manager at Gainesville Raceway, was more than satisfied with the work and would gladly recommend Screen Doctors to his friends. “He showed up when he said he was going to, did what they said they would do for the price they quoted. They did a good job – what more can I ask?”

Reliability, quality of work and honesty are the factors that make Kevin Layne, and Screen Doctors, stand out from so many others in Gainesville.
