Building Your Child's Confidence, FL  

PETTY’S PROFESSIONAL TOUCH, located in northwest Gainesville, is dedicated to taking Gainesville’s young men and women and turning them into confident and charismatic gentlemen and ladies. Tresa Petty-Edwards, co-owner of Petty’s Professional Touch, works hard with her partner, Carmen Petty-Scott, to help each student excel in the many areas of instruction offered at the school. Classes are held in six-week intervals and students are given guidance on poise, posture, speaking skills and much more. The six-week program is followed by an extravaganza to celebrate the graduation of the “PPT” students.

“PPT” is also offering a job preparation workshop for pupils ages 13-16. The course will include work on job interview skills, resume building workshops and typing tutorial programs, among others. Other programs being offered by “PPT” include a summer session for overweight children. The session will be six weeks long and will include work-out classes and a visiting nutritionist.

Students also learn runway walking and posing skills, but the heart of each class is the development of well-mannered young men and women who are self-assured.

Students leave the program learning much more than poise and posing. Petty’s Professional Touch offers students opportunities to build confidence in themselves and their abilities. G
