The Village Jeweler

MIX JEWELRY, clothing and accessories. Spice it all up with exceptional customer service. Finally, add in prices that are far from traditional for retail. With a combination like that, you can only be talking about one store – The Village Jeweler in Haile Village Center.

To paraphrase the expression in the commercial, “this is not your parent’s jewelry store.” As a matter of fact, it is much more than a jewelry store. Just walk in and turn left to discover further. That’s where you find Four Seasons, home to wonderful women’s clothes, gifts and accessories.

The owners, Mike and Cynthia Thibault have discovered that the jewelry, clothes and accessories are a perfect complement. “It really works well for us,” said Cynthia Thibault. “Women come into the store for clothes or our exclusive collection of Vera Bradley handbags, something no one else in the area carries, and they end up looking for jewelry to go with it.”

In addition to the clothes and accessories, it really is the jewelry and the service that makes The Village Jewelers special. “Treating people the way you would want to be treated has always been our number one goal,” Thibault said. “We’re a full-service jeweler, and we strive to go above and beyond in customer service. We try to create a fun place to shop. Our main focus is quality. We want our customers leaving our store with something they are proud of, and excited to wear.”

Mike and Cynthia Thibault are no strangers to the jewelry industry. Mike Thibault is a master jeweler with more than 17 years of experience. They started in the wholesale end of the business, growing to serve customers such as Zales and Service Merchandise. “Because of the relationships we have secured with our cutters, we are able to be extremely competitive in the diamond market,” she said.

Just check out their website, which houses tens of thousands of diamonds available for sale. But it’s more than diamonds that makes The Village Jeweler’s inventory special. They have a great bridal selection, including Scott Kay platinum, Hearts on Fire diamonds, JB Stan and much more.

With the combination of great jewelry, competitive pricing and a great staff, including Dianne Gates, who has been manager for 10 years, it is no wonder the former head football coach himself, Steve Spurrier, said, “The next time you buy jewelry, don’t fumble the decision. Come see my friends, Mike and Cynthia, at The Village Jeweler in Haile Plantation.” G
