It seems that November officially kicks off the holiday season and we have themed this magazine Great Holiday Dining and Shopping Ideas. Inside you will find some terrific gift ideas along with some great suggestions of places to eat while you’re out and about.

The Perfect Gift is about Cloud 9 Spa and Salon on Archer Road. Talk about a gift! Believe me; anyone would be happy to receive a gift certificate from their establishment. You may even want to treat yourself to a little pampering.

On Cloud 9 every customer is treated as if they were on a vacation from life’s worries. They don’t allow children or cell phones and they do take credit cards. The ambience there just makes you relax and I was so impressed with the attention to detail and the attitude of “you are the customer.” Truly, the perfect gift.

A very interesting story entitled Gainesville’s Medical Webmaster is about a friend of mine who has created a fantastic website about our medical community. Gainesville Today even donates medically related articles for the site. The primary goal of the creators is to provide a website whereby the public can go to easily find information about doctors, clinics, dentists, therapists and much more.

The public gets an easy to use reference guide to the medical community and the medical community gets an opportunity to post information about their practice or clinic. Now that’s a great idea!
