The Great Steaks of Timber Creek
Timber Creek Steakhouse, located in Timber Village at 39th Avenue and NW 51st Street, is the restaurant that Gainesville’s been craving. In the old Copper Monkey, Timber Creek looks forward to serving an upscale menu to their patrons. They offer 12 different steak dishes to select from on their menu, featuring different influences from as far away as Italy and the Orient. No matter what taste or cut is your favorite, you’ll find it on their menu, with a savory variation that is better that you imagined.
The Tuscany is a flavorful divergence from the traditional steak. It’s a tender certified Angus tenderloin seasoned with fresh basil, thyme and garlic then grilled and topped with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Their Ranch Steak is an original cut, similar to the filet of sirloin but much more tender. Timber Creek also serves combinations of steak and seafood for those who just can’t decide, or must have both. There’s the Marinated Shrimp and Steak Kabob, skewered with fresh mushrooms, peppers and onions, then grilled on an open flame. They have a wonderful meatless dish, the Garden Garlic Vegetable Pasta. A medley of bell peppers, zucchini squash, artichoke hearts and other veggies are sautéed and served over penne past in garlic sauce.
They also offer fabulous after-dinner coffee cocktails. Kahlua Especial makes your ordinary cup-a-joe smooth and rich, while the Nutty Irishman a splash of Frangelico and Bailey’s Irish Cream warms your tummy.
Whether you’re in the mood for a classic cut of beef, or feeling more adventurous, Timber Creek has a culinary masterpiece to satisfy your cravings. Their menu boasts a wide variety of entrées, including Cajun, Oriental, and Italian fare. But clearly the focus is on American favorites like steaks, seafood, salads, pasta, sandwiches, and other various beef and poultry dishes.
The Timber Creek Steakhouse has a great upscale casual atmosphere, and their martini and wine bar serves every possible martini concoction imaginable, like the Guavatini and the Blue Cosmo. There’s a live blues band every Friday and Saturday night, 7 to 11pm and 9 pm to 1 am, respectively. And after your meal, you can even enjoy a game of billiards in the adjacent Panama Joes lounge.
If you’re in search of something new, try the Timber Creek Steakhouse, where they serve your favorites with mouth-watering flair.
