Angel Gardens
People visit Angel Gardens to find an extraordinary gift for a friend or spouse, always a hit no matter what they choose. They know that new merchandise arrives daily, keeping things fresh and fun. Many love to bring their relatives and friends to this place of enchantment. After soaking up the energy, everyone leaves in awe.
Established in 1991 by Pam and James Greenewald, Angel Gardens has been a labor of love. Real life Mom & Pops are harder and harder to find these days and this is one of them. Even after 11 years, restoration of the old farmhouse (circa 1925) is still ongoing. At this old homestead, everything is for sale. Strolling through the gardens, guests receive inspiration for outdoor and indoor decorating ideas. In addition to antiques and angels, Angel Gardens carries one of North Florida’s largest and unique selections of statuary, birdbaths, fountains, and garden accessories.
With 11 years experience, James designs and builds beautiful ponds and waterfalls. He also is a licensed building contractor for 30 years who specializes in building outdoor structures such as decks, bridges, fences, etc. Free pond building workshops are offered every month. A wide variety of pond supplies including liners, pumps, filters, aquatic plants and fish make this place a one-stop-shop for your entire water garden needs.
Pam brings 30 years of gardening experience and a passion for plants. She sells and cares for aquatic plants and water lilies in addition to annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, and houseplants. Her plants thrive in the shade of the porch and tree-canopied yard. Special orders are welcome. Folks venture in after years of curiosity over about what’s inside. They are shocked to discover the variety of beautiful gifts that they have not seen before: from garden accessories to home décor-lamps, pictures, florals, figurines, jewelry, stationary, antiques, furniture, framed prints, and collectibles. They wander around the two acres unwinding the day’s stress. The angels have definitely left their mark on the atmosphere at Angel Gardens. Bathing in it will not be forgotten.
Angel Gardens is open 7 days a week. For more information call Pam at 386-462-7722. Their on-line catalog is at www.angelgardens.com
