Letter from the Publisher
This month is another special edition. In the center of the magazine is a 32 page Guide to the City of Alachua. You can pull it out but you will have to re-staple it. There are many new (and a few not so new) faces in this friendly small town twelve miles to our northwest. Please take a few minutes to read over the guide and take a Saturday afternoon to discover Alachua. You’ll be glad you did.
We have several other very good stories in this book. The cover story, Valentine Smiles, is about Drs. Art and Kimberley Mowery and their thriving practice. They do awesome work. I always enjoy working with them because I like to see the before and after pictures and to hear the before and after stories. Their customers must be thrilled when they leave the office with a new smile.
I want to tell you about our next several issues because they are going to be good. In March we will theme the magazine around home improvements featuring an editorial about home improvements that pay. In April, our annual Parade of Homes issue will feature an editorial about the tour and the builders involved. And in May we will publish our first ever Guide to the Gainesville Area. This will feature numerous editorials about all the things to see, do, go, places to eat, shop, etc, etc. We are very excited about that book.
So, thank you again for grabbing this edition and please keep you eyes out for the next.
Till next month!
Mickey L. Pulcini
PS—Don’t forget your sweetie on Valentine’s Day!
